I'm extremely disturbed by the Cambodia incident.

Though i know none of them, but i just cant help to tears when i read or watch news or even just the thots on this incident. esp when they showed their smiling pics they took during the trip. oki, maybe i'm too emotional.

Life is really very unpredictable. too Vulnerable. if the One above wants you back, He will take you away without warning. and because of that, sometimes i feel tat He is cruel. Anyway, tat is not for me to judge.

i still can keep complaining i'm gaining weight when at the same time, i'm increasing the amt of tibits on my desk.. whahahha…

I'm gg for my 21km of run soon!!! nervous nervous NERVOUS!!! why? cos i DIN really TRAIN for it!

then when i saw the animated track, i was like.. har!! so damned damned long distance! haha… 21km does not sound long but visually, it is really super ultra LONG lo!!

really wonder how long will i take to complete the whole race sia. hopefully not more than 4 hrs.

R.I.P

heard abt the news of the 5 unfortunate dragonboaters who died in Cambodia. 

saw the news just now. their bodies had been recovered. i teared.

i know none of them but the youngest boy is my bro's frd. heard frm him tat they just met on last tue to celebrate one of their frd's bdae and now he is gone. just like tat. it is always a very heart-wrenching, very disturbing to see such accident happening. 

Give their family members more time to accept the fact.  Realli wish that they can lead their normal lives soon, though tat's so tough.

Rest in peace to the 5 guys.

Gel Nailss!! - waste of money

haiss… realli regretted doing this Gel Nails thingy to my fingernails..

the Gel nails itself cost me $65… n  i din noe that removing them is to cost me another $50 bucks!! my goodness.. although that's alr the discounted price, but.. still so ex!!! i had paid $115 just to satisfy my curiousity for Gel nails.. wat an ex lesson man!!!

Beware of unreasonable Cab FARE!!

This is a true account from my frd's frd!!

This is an incident that happens yesterday when I was on my way back to office in Robinson road.
As I was running out of time, I took a cab from Traders Hotel. As I was waiting for a cab,
a guy approaches me asking if I'm getting a cab, I told him yes and in the meantime,
there was a NTUC cab turning in. He waves “no” to the NTUC cab and that keep me wondering why I can't take that cab,
later he signal a silver cab over and ask me to take this cab instead.

I obliged as I think there should not be any problem.
The cab driver told me he wanted to go by Havelock road which I agreed due to lesser traffic.
In the meanwhile, I notice there was some amount indicated in the meter under extra, which I assume it was the peak hour charges.
So for a 4.3km and 11 minutes ride, we pass a ERP gantry costing a dollar extra, I also realize the extra charges reflected $7.
I kept my cool and when I reach my destination, he told me the total fare was $14.60. I asked him to print out the receipt and he told me
the ERP was $7. I argued with him that we only cross one gantry and which powerful gantry in Singapore charges $7.
He replied “I DON”T KNOW”.

Being a cab driver, I was in disbelief when he told me he doesn't know. I pointed to the charges reflected in the IU unit which reflected a dollar and that shut him up completely and he changed his story that most probably the machine is spoilt and he need to send the car back to the company to check. FYI, the car was a new KIA Premier.

I does not know whether he did it purposely or he really is ignorant but you guys should really be more careful when taking cab as what he did was trying to cheat me a “SINGAPOREAN” and I wonder how many tourists have been cheated for the extra “ERP” charges. Please look at the meter when you take a cab. Attached is the receipt.

Irritaitng cab drivers. now govt is coming up with strict regulations to stop this vice practices. GOOD!
